2025E-commerce Specialist & Operations Manager

Keybird Instruments is a young company whose main goal is innovation in the piano industry. With key characteristics of being lightweight, portable and at the same time acoustic, Keybird piano offers a whole new experience to players, which addresses a significant gap in the market. Since the company was beginning to expand its operations and online presence and needed a new and more stable webshop due to increase in its customer base, I was hired to develop their new webshop as an E-commerce Specialist.

During my tenure at Keybird, my responsibilities evolved in line with the company’s needs. As I gained trust and a deeper understanding of the business, I gradually took over Operations management within the company.


I was responsible for logistics planning, handling everything from shipping individual tools and production equipment to coordinating and booking container shipments of pianos from the factory in China to Denmark. This required me to quickly learn the principles of global logistics, international shipping terms, and trade practices.


In addition, I managed the Customer Support department, overseeing the entire customer journey - from initial contact and sales pipeline management to post-sale care and long-term relationship building.

One of the major projects I led was the Kickstarter campaign for the new model, Keybird L1. I created the full marketing plan, wrote and narrated the campaign video, and managed the launch. The campaign exceeded its funding goal, raising €75,995 (over half a million DKK), successfully greenlighting the Keybird L1 production and the first batch of 50 models.


As for the e-commerce solutions for Keybird, firstly I developed a Shopify webshop, and year later migrated it to WooCommerce. Both platforms were integrated with HubSpot (CRM and email system), and I built automation workflows in Make (Integromat) to synchronize WooCommerce orders with a hefty ERP system and E-conomic.
